When the source of inspiration for a styled wedding shoot is Ed Sheeran’s song “Thinking Out Loud,” it’s difficult not to imagine romantic, timeless decor, and details that take your breath away. Shawon Davis Photography and the fabulous team of local vendor who put together this beautiful black and gold styled wedding have delivered just that — a wedding so rich with romance that it’s almost unreal! Inspired by how perfect the song is for walking down the aisle, Shawon Davis Photography and the team set out to create a soiree and a styled bride and groom that would showcase a stunning ceremony and a classically beautiful reception. The team of creatives chose the elegant ballroom at the Harbor Lights Marina and Country Club for their setting and brought in two lovely models, Lucas and Samantha, to be their smitten bride and groom. Samantha’s look included a simplistic strapless wedding gown from SimplyBridal and hair and makeup by the one and only M.A.W. Beauty. The dapper groom sported a classic black tux contributed by Anthony’s House of Formals. Together, they were a perfect pairing.
Within the ballroom, the team crafted a ceremony out of chiavari chairs and sheer white drapes and topped off the look by adding tea light candles and roses to the aisle. And, just past the curtains, there was a magical reception styled by LisaMarie Creative Ambiance Events Floral and Decor Division. The tables were draped with white linens and lovely runners made our of greenery and white roses. Sophisticated white plates and gold and ivory menus by Paper Lily Invitations completed the place settings. But, that’s not all — the talents behind the shoot also put together a totally dreamy sweetheart table, too! Featuring cascading rose florals and a plethora of candles, the table is the perfect example of an intimate place for the bride and groom to spend some time together during a busy, crowded reception. And, last, but not least, Bake.Eat.Love contributed a gorgeous cake with gold bands and white florals to the setting that was totally to die for!
